MAMA LAND

We intend to choose as good candidates to take part in the program

We discuss a business proposal with the women.

Helped each woman organize a business plan. And show them how to keep careful records. (We give them little business plans to work through. We make sure their cash flows were sufficient to cover the loan repayments and to make a profit and we issue the first loans.)

MAMA loan each woman between fifty and one hundred fifty dollars ($150) as the first loan (in terms of goods or money needed for the business to run)

But if a woman does miss a payment, the other women in each loan group (chama) help to repay the money. After the payment completion, the women graduate to independent banking with a Mama-Land Microfinance.
